Here are a few more photos taken on our latest trip out to the botanical gardens last weekend. I was surprised how few flowers were out, and just how many had sustained rain-damage. It was a sad, sorry sight, but still, I managed to snap some shots of what colourful flowers were out.
Silent somnolent seagulls float in an azure blue sky,
A single lazy cloud hangs above a verdent canopy of lush green treetops,
The quiet only broken by the breeze rustling leaves to remind me
Today sees us enjoying a soft balmy breeze with a hint of humidity. The sky is a vivid eye-watering azure and the sun resplendant above. It’s the kind of day you want to sit in the shade, look up at that blue, and let your mind wander.
It’s a day to simply watch life unfold as time intended, slowly.
