Sunday Day Dreams

Another Sunday and the sun is finally out, we’ve finished our chores, and there’s only the bed left to do. So it must be time to grab a coffee and surf everyone’s blog, right? I think I’ve earned a sit down, and some book blogging. But also, it’s a good time to start thinking about where we want to go and what we want to do, as our holidays start this coming Friday. The 24th is a holiday here. No, they don’t celebrate midsummers day but St. John Baptiste’s Day.

Which means, we’re hoping for sunshine, but preparing for the rest of June and start of July to continue with the rain. So that means planning trips for all weather contingencies. If it’s raining, we go to: art galleries, museums, the aquarium, yes, even the mall if we have to. We have a giant one with a fun fair inside and an IMax cinema.

And, if the sun does actually come out, then we’re off out to every park and garden we can find, including Montmorency Falls, Wendake, and my favourite, the botanical gardens. We’ll also have the Mosaicultures 2022 at the bois de Coulonge starting this Friday. We’ve bought our season’s pass and, come rain or shine, we’ll be visiting as often as possible given the park is literally 3 blocks away from where we live!

I can’t wait to go see the jellies at the aquarium …
